A Photo Shoot or Two

I had many more cute poses picked out to take of Gabrielle, but I did not take into account the lack of sleep and caring for two other kiddos that just might get in the way of those plans.  However, I did manage to snap a few poses of our beauty and even a family shot, too.  It has been a busy few weeks since her arrival, but we are all adjusting and finding our new rhythm.  Zeke loves to cover Gabby with kisses and Sam asks to hold her whenever she is not sleeping or eating.  She is a much loved little girl.

Welcoming Our Newest Member

We are officially a family of 5.  Sam has been praying for our family of 5 since we knew we were expecting this little one.  She is here and has filled our hearts with so much love.  Gabrielle Nancy was born on February 23rd.  She made a very fast entrance into this world and into her daddy's arms.  After only about 3 hours of labor, we just made it to the hospital parking lot when this little lady came into this world.  I expected a faster labor this time, but never did I think it would go this fast.  She was born in Hans' truck, in the parking lot of the hospital, at 11:30 pm.  Just in time to be born on her Nana (her namesake) and Papa's anniversary.  She has quite the birth story to tell.  Hans and I were incredibly calm and prepared.  After two previous natural, Bradley, births, we knew just what to do.  The doctors and nurses in the ER, on the other hand, were a bit shocked when we pulled up with the baby in my arms.  Gabrielle was healthy, alert, and very ready to enter the world.

My parents were here and able to take care of the boys.  What a blessing to not have to worry about them and to know they were getting extra special attention.  It's been a whirl wind between our little girls' exciting entrance into the world and adjusting to three kiddos at home.  Here are a few pictures of our little lady.  Stay tuned for updates on our new family of 5.
